On the move

I have been so busy since I started at Cardinal Nation.  If I don't wake up in time I won't be able to eat any breakfast.  The first couple days Red Bull was my breakfast. One morning I woke up in time for a real nice breakfast,  I had sausage, a blueberry waffle and cheese eggs. It served me well throughout the day. Breakfast is important and I witnessed it first hand.

PIZZA PIZZA!

I love Imos pizza! I go to one Imos to get pizza its in University City.  Since I work in Ucity and I use to live around the corner from my job I ate local food.  It is a Dominoes a couple blocks away, I went there before and the cashier was rude. I don't tolerate rude employees so I never returned. My favorite Imos pizza is bacon and diced green peppers!

Vernon's

My boyfriend and I went to this bar b que place in University City on Vernon avenue.  This is his plate he had an original BBQ slider it was stacked! On the bottom a piece of cornbread, turkey, beef brisket, cole slaw, topped with Vernon's special cheese sauce and burt end beans! He topped it off with their "The Lou" BBQ sauce.

Sweet arts!!!

My younger brother made this out of skittles. I believe he is one of the Jonas brothers. It took him about two weeks to complete it. He woild have been done before then but he kept running out of purple skittles.  He said that is the color they put the least in each bag. I would have to say he spent about $25 total on all the bags of skittles he had to buy. I know one thing, when we have a sweet tooth we won't have to worry. He has plenty of orange and yellow skittles left.

Today before class I went to the galleria mall. I went in wanting a sandwich from Charlie's but then I was like hey, let me try something different. So I went to the Hibachi grill and asked for a sample I never taste their food so I wanted to know what I was getting. It was ok, I had tried the chicken teriyaki but they had a mini plate sale for $5.00. I stand back in front of the register to wait on the man serving another customer and these two ladies came out of nowhere and guess what? the man serves them before me and I was there first! I was standing back a little but if I am still in the area of your business and I looked like I wanted assistance he could have at least asked "do you know what you want to order today" or anything to acknowledge my presence. I was highly upset! I took my dollar to Panda Express and wasn't really satisfied there because of the price but it did me good.

Lunch time

I have been loving fish lately!  Tonight for my lunch break I ate a swai fillet with lemon pepper.  Every time I order fish from my job I always request lemon pepper, this time I didnt but he knew I wanted some. He fried this to perfection!  Nice and crispy not too much lemon pepper I didnt want it to end. But the salad bar calls.

Mi Ranchito

Last night we went on a double date, my boyfriend and I with a couple of my friends. We went out for margaritas. I choose a peach frozen margarita, it was nasty. Nice and stiff but the peach flavor wasn't really there; & it flowed like water not a slush. The food on the other hand was amazing!  I ordered a chicken fajita quesadilla with spanish rice. The quesadilla was on point,  the green peppers were crispy seemed very fresh. The chicken and it tasted like mozzarella cheese was in it just melted in my mouth. Everything blened well in the quesadilla.  I will go back for food not a forzen margarita.

Why I love cooking!

So my aunt actually cooked tonight. Tri color rotini in ragu sauce with cut up polish sausage.  Yes it may sound weird, nasty, or what have you but we enjoyed it! With our garlic bread and a summer blend salad. With cooking you can really try anything you want! Yes, sometimes it may not turn out right but its ok. Oh, and remember only experiment with yourself.
